Broncos, Briefly: Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019

Broncos coach Vic Fangio and general manager John Elway joined together Monday at the team's practice facility to discuss the 2019 football season coming to an end.

Broncos players, including Lock, went through their end-of-the season check-out procedures, and Lock said he believed he had done enough to be the starting quarterback next season and beyond. Roughly 90 minutes later, Elway agreed.

For the first time in four years, the Broncos begin an offseason without major questions about their coaching staff or their starting quarterback.

Joe Ellis, the Broncos' chief executive officer and president, indicated Monday that he could foresee putting Denver's NFL franchise up for sale if Pat Bowlen's seven children don't unanimously approve Brittany Bowlen as the team's eventual controlling owner.
