ROACH AT A GLANCE:

• A fifth-year defensive tackle who has appeared in 41 career games (5 starts) with New Orleans (2017-21), totaling 90 tackles (38 solo), one sack (3 yds.), one interception (5 yds.) and four passes defensed.

• Played in 12 games in 2023, totaling career highs in tackles (38) and passes defensed (3).

• Recorded 26 tackles (14 solo) and one sack (3 yds.) after missing the first four games of the season with an injury in 2022.

• In 2021, played in seven games (2 starts), registering 10 tackles (4 solo), one sack (5 yds.) and one pass defensed.

• Appeared in nine games as a rookie after signing with the Saints as a college free agent, finishing with 16 tackles (7 solo).

• Played at the University of Texas (2016-19), where he appeared in 47 games (23 starts) as both a defensive end and linebacker and totaled 134 tackles (83 solo), eight sacks (53 yds.) with three passes defensed.
