United States Navy Operations Specialist 2ND Class Roy Ramirez hails from Houston, Texas. He joined the Navy in 2005 and his outstanding performance soon earned him an opportunity for advanced training as an Operations Specialist. His duty assignments include the USS Boxer, in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron Seven Three based in San Diego. A veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Ramirez is currently serving as a Navy Recruiter in Denver, Colorado and was recently selected as the Junior Sailor of the Quarter (4th Qtr FY20).
