1. Manning honors life of fan
QB Peyton Manning honored the life of one of his biggest fans this week after receiving a touching letter from a grieving grandmother. Last March, a drunk driver in Evansville, Indiana, took Logan Brown's life and his grandmother wrote to Manning. In the letter, she explained how Brown was a huge fan and what he meant to him.
In response, Manning sent a handwritten letter and an autographed picture to the grieving family, expressing his condolences earlier this month on what would have been Brown’s 16th birthday.
2. Harris Jr. honored by his hometown
Chris Harris Jr. will soon be appearing on GPS directions across his hometown of Bixby, Oklahoma.
The Pro Bowl cornerback is back supporting his town this week with his wife and daughter, and this morning Bixby announced the addition of Chris Harris Jr. Road and officially proclaimed June 26 as Chris Harris Jr. Day.
Harris has remains a large part of the Bixby community and is his foundation is aiding the town in raising funds for a new community center.
