Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Amalia Robinson was born in Cuba and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. She joined the Navy in 2008 as an Electrician's Mate and was initially assigned to the Aircraft Carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, deploying twice during Operation Enduring Freedom. During that time she performed maintenance on generators, power distribution switchboards and other electrical equipment to maintain the ship in optimal condition. She later became a Hospital Corpsman now providing top medical care to hundreds of sailors. During these 12 years Petty Officer Robinson has proudly served our Country. She is currently assigned as a Navy Recruiter serving in Denver, Colorado.
