ENGLEWOOD, Colo. –When Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway and Head Coach John Fox wrapped up the season with a press conference earlier this week, they touched on more than just the team's Divisional Round loss.

MANNING'S CONTRACT OPTION TO BE PICKED UP
In what should not be a surprise following quarterback Peyton Manning's record-setting 2012 campaign, Elway said that the team plans to pick up the option on the quarterback's contract.
"We plan on doing that," Elway said. "But that comes before the new league year, end of February, when we go through that process, the physical and everything."
TEAM HOPES TO BRING BACK CLADY
Tackle Ryan Clady is set to become one of the Broncos' 10 unrestricted free agents this offseason.
The fifth-year player earned his third Pro Bowl selection this season after allowing just one sack, which represented the fewest among 16-game starting tackles in 2012.
"We're going to try to get something done with Ryan," Elway said.
BAILEY STILL A CORNER
Fox ruled out any thought of moving cornerback Champ Bailey to safety in 2013.
"I don't see that," he said when asked about that possibility.
Bailey earned his 12th career Pro Bowl selection in 2012, setting a record for all defensive backs and extending his own mark for cornerbacks.
BOLDEN PLANNING TO COME BACK STRONG
Despite dislocating his shoulder in Denver's Divisional Round loss to Baltimore, cornerback Omar Bolden maintained his "positive living" philosophy on the sideline while supporting his teammates.
Bolden, who played all 16 games as a rookie and ranked third on the team with nine special-teams tackles, told Elway that he plans to come back and complete for more playing time on defense next season.
"Omar's a competitive, young, tough guy that did a heck-of-a job on special teams for us this year," Elway said. "It's funny, John and I were sitting, having breakfast this morning and he dislocated his shoulder (against Baltimore) and was there in case we needed him for the rest of the game but his comment was, 'I'm coming back next year to take somebody's job.' I said, 'I like that. I like that attitude.'"
