Jones signed to active roster, Love added to practice squad

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Thursday signed tight end Dominique Jones to their active roster and added offensive tackle DeMarcus Love to their practice squad, it was announced.

Jones appeared in Denver's game against the Chargers on Sunday after spending 13 weeks on the club's practice squad. He has played in 13 career games (3 starts) with Indianapolis (2012-13), Kansas City (2013) and Denver (2014).

Love (6-4, 315 pounds) is a fourth-year player who has spent time on active rosters with Minnesota (2011-13) and Jacksonville (2013) in addition to competing on practice squads with the Giants and Saints this season.

Selected by the Vikings in the sixth round (168th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft from the University of Arkansas, Love played in 45 career games (37 starts) for the Razorbacks as a two-year team captain.
