Join the Broncos' fight against Alzheimer's

The Denver Broncos and the family of Broncos owner Pat Bowlen will once again join the Denver chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in its mission to raise money for Alzheimer's research, support and care.

The 2016 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's will take place Saturday, Sept. 17 at Denver's City Park. A ceremony begins at 9 a.m., followed by the walk's beginning at 9:15 a.m. MT.

The Bowlen family in July 2014 announced that Pat Bowlen is one of many Coloradoans living with Alzheimer's disease.

"Team Super Bowlen" invites fans of the Broncos to help it reach its fundraising goal and to work to put an end to Alzheimer's. Those interested in joining "Team Super Bowlen" or donating to the cause can visit the team's page.

In addition to the Alzheimer's Association, the Broncos have flagship partnerships with the following organizations: Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, Denver Public Schools, Denver Rescue Mission, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, Food Bank of the Rockies, Susan G. Komen Colorado, Bonfils Blood Center, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children and Colorado Youth Football.
