ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Rookie wide receiver Devaughn Vele is the lone Bronco ruled out for the team's Week 2 game against the Steelers.

Vele (ribs) did not participate in any of the Broncos' three practices ahead of the team's home opener.

Denver, though, saw tackle Garett Bolles (calf), wide receiver Josh Reynolds (Achilles) and center Luke Wattenberg (ankle) improve to full participants in Friday's practice. The three players did not receive game statuses, which indicates they will be available to play against Pittsburgh.

All three players did not practice Wednesday and were limited participants on Thursday.

Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (knee) remained a full participant for the second consecutive day and also did not receive a game status.

Vele caught a team-high eight passes in Denver's Week 1 matchup with the Steelers.

The Broncos kick off against the Steelers at 2:25 p.m. MT on Sunday.
