ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Starters Kareem Jackson and Melvin Gordon III did not practice Wednesday as the Broncos began their preparation for their Week 6 game against the Raiders.
"Kareem has a back issue," Head Coach Vic Fangio said before practice. "I think he's going to be fine. He's feeling much better today, but he's not going to practice today."
Gordon was listed on the injury report with a hip injury.
Cornerback Mike Ford (knee), linebacker Alexander Johnson (not injury related - rest) and tackle Bobby Massie (not injury related - rest) also did not practice, while outside linebacker Von Miller (not injury related - rest) and nose tackle Mike Purcell (back) were listed as limited.
Cornerback Ronald Darby (hamstring) was listed as a full participant on the injury report after he was activated from injured reserve on Saturday. Fangio also said running back Mike Boone is "ready to go."
