ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — As the Broncos lost several starters to the Reserve/COVID-19 list, a pair of defensive starters returned to practice on Friday.

Inside linebacker Kenny Young (concussion) and cornerback Ronald Darby (shoulder) were listed as limited participants and are questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Denver held a walkthrough on Friday, and the team's injury report is an estimation.

Neither player practiced earlier this week, and Young had not practiced since suffering a concussion against the Lions on Dec. 12.

Seven other Broncos were listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Running backs Melvin Gordon III (thumb/hip) and Javonte Williams (knee), defensive linemen Shelby Harris (ankle), Dre'Mont Jones (foot) and Shamar Stephen (knee) and safety Kareem Jackson (back/shoulder) were all limited on Friday and are listed as questionable.

Wide receiver Courtland Sutton was added to the injury report with an illness on Friday. He was listed as a non-participant and is listed as questionable.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who did not practice this week, is the lone player who was ruled out.
