ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After suffering a right shoulder injury against the Chargers, quarterback Drew Lock was estimated as a limited participant the Broncos' Tuesday practice report.
Denver did not practice on Tuesday, but the team released estimated practice statuses ahead of its season finale against the Chiefs.
Head Coach Vic Fangio said Monday he plans for Lock to start against Kansas City, as starter Teddy Bridgewater remains in the league's concussion protocol. Bridgewater has not practiced since suffering his injury in Week 15 against the Bengals.
Lock suffered the right shoulder injury in the first half of the team's Week 17 loss to the Chargers, but he returned to the game after missing just one series.
Bridgewater was among four players who were estimated as non-participants on Tuesday. Guard Dalton Risner (elbow), cornerback Pat Surtain II (calf) and safety Kareem Jackson (back/shoulder) were also estimated as non-participants. Fangio previously ruled Risner out of the game.
Cornerback Ronald Darby (shoulder), tight end Noah Fant (quad), running backs Melvin Gordon III (thumb/hip) and Javonte Williams (knee) and defensive linemen Shelby Harris (ankle) and Shamar Stephen (quad) joined Lock as players who were estimated as limited participants.
