ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) was back at practice Thursday as a limited participant after missing Monday's game and Wednesday's practice.
Head Coach Vic Fangio said Callahan was battling the "same issue" that ended his season in Week 14 for Chicago last year.
"It's a foot that keeps acting up on him and gets sore," Fangio said.
Linebacker Todd Davis, who also missed Monday's game, was limited Thursday for the second consecutive practice.
"Much improved," said Fangio when asked how Davis looked at practice. "I was encouraged by the way he looked yesterday, and hopefully he'll be able to do more today."
If Davis does play in Sunday's game against the Bears, Fangio expects to manage his snaps.
"It would be unrealistic for him to go out there and play 50 plays or more," Fangio said.
Guard Ron Leary (quadricep) was limited again Thursday. Tackle Ja'Wuan James (knee), fullback Andy Janovich (pectoral) and linebacker Joe Jones (tricep) did not practice.
