ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam turned in encouraging practices on Tuesday as they aim to return this Sunday against Washington.

Head Coach Vic Fangio, who spoke to the media before Wednesday's practice, said both players turned in "good" sessions.

"[He] ran around good," Fangio said of Jeudy. "Looked good running his routes. [I] was pleased with the way he looked."

Fangio echoed that sentiment for Okwuegbunam.

"He did good, too," Fangio said. "[I] talked to him a couple times during the practice. Didn't seem to have any effects, didn't come in today with aftereffects. [The] arrow [is] up there."

Jeudy has not played since Week 1, while Okwuegbunam suffered a hamstring injury in practice ahead of Week 5.

Outside linebacker Von Miller (ankle) and nose tackle Mike Purcell (thumb) were not expected to practice Wednesday as the team continued its preparation for the Washington Football Team. Neither player practiced on Tuesday, either.

Fangio previously said he did not expect Purcell would be able to play this week, and he noted that Miller would be listed as questionable if he had to provide a game status on Wednesday.

Outside linebackers Malik Reed (hip) and Aaron Patrick (ankle), tackle Garett Bolles (foot) and wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland were expected to be limited participants.
