ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos were without three starters as they began their preparation Wednesday for a Week 3 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Outside linebacker Baron Browning (foot), defensive end John Franklin-Myers (concussion) and safety Brandon Jones (foot) did not participate in Denver's Wednesday practice.

Safety JL Skinner (ankle) also did not practice on Wednesday.

Defensive end Zach Allen (shoulder), tight ends Greg Dulcich (knee/ankle) and Adam Trautman (shoulder) and wide receivers Josh Reynolds (Achilles) and Devaughn Vele (ribs) were listed as limited participants.

Vele did not practice ahead of Week 2 and was ruled out of the game with the injury to his ribs. He led the Broncos in receptions in Week 1.

The Broncos placed tackle Mike McGlinchey on injured reserve earlier Wednesday.
