ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos plan to make a decision about Joe Flacco's roster status within "the next couple days," Head Coach Vic Fangio said Thursday.
Flacco was previously ruled out for Sunday's game with a neck injury.
"Everything's still on the table with Joe," Fangio said. "We could leave him on the 53 and wait a while or could IR him."
Fangio said the team should have "a better understanding" of their plan after receiving medical advice and discussing long-term options.
Brandon Allen will start at quarterback Sunday for Denver.
Flacco did not practice again on Thursday. Cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) and safety Will Parks (hand) remained out with long-term injuries. Tight end Jeff Heuerman (knee), tackle Ja'Wuan James (knee) and linebacker Corey Nelson (biceps) also did not practice.
Outside linebacker Von Miller (knee) and linebacker Todd Davis (knee/hip) returned to practice on a limited basis after missing Wednesday's practice.
Fangio said Miller would play Sunday and that he thinks Davis will be fine, as well.
Running back Phillip Lindsay, who was limited with a wrist injury on Wednesday, was also a full participant.
"He's fine," Fangio said.
