ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos will begin their 2024 home slate with a highly anticipated matchup.
Denver will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS to begin an eight-game home schedule.
The Broncos' matchup with the Steelers, which will pit Denver against 2023's sixth-ranked scoring defense, could also represent Russell Wilson's return to Denver. Wilson signed with the Steelers in the offseason after being released by the Broncos. Pittsburgh also acquired former Bears starter Justin Fields via a trade.
Denver's matchup with the Steelers, though, is just one of a number of compelling matchups set for Empower Field at Mile High.
The Broncos will close their home slate with a Week 18 matchup against the Chiefs and look to earn back-to-back home wins against Kansas City for the first time since 2013-14.
The Broncos will also play host to "Monday Night Football" in Week 13, when Denver welcomes former Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and the Cleveland Browns to Denver.
Denver will play back-to-back home games just once during the 2024 season, as the Broncos will host the Raiders on Oct. 6 and the Chargers on Oct. 13 to kick off their division slate.
Denver's home slate also features Sunday home games against the Carolina Panthers (Week 8; Sunday, Oct. 27), Atlanta Falcons (Week 11; Sunday, Nov. 17), Indianapolis Colts (Week 15; Sunday, Dec. 15).
The Broncos will also host the Green Bay Packers (Sunday, Aug. 18, 6 p.m. MT) and Arizona Cardinals (Sunday, Aug. 25, 2:30 p.m. MT) in the preseason.
