Fox Outlines Broncos' Super Bowl Bye Week Schedule

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. –Head Coach John Fox is headed to the Super Bowl for the third time in his career – twice as a head coach and once as a defensive coordinator.

So he is well aware of all the logistical and scheduling issues that accompany the season's grand finale.

And that's what Fox and his staff spent Monday morning working on.

"There are a lot of things to plan," Fox said.

"Again, it's a race like all weeks in preparation," he said. "We'll have a lot to do, a lot to dig into. We'll treat it like all our preparation this season."

Players worked out Monday morning and were given the rest of the day -- as well as the next two days — off.

"They were in this morning, they lifted," Fox said. "We'll do some meetings at 1:30 on logistic stuff because there are a lot of logistics involved on this trip."

"Thursday will be the equivalent of our in-season Wednesday preparation."
