Kansas City Chiefs
Pick: Round 3, Pick 23 (87)
Player: Phillip Gaines
Position: CB
College: Rice
Mayock's take: "He's a long corner who had a tremendous combine workout. I felt like he's a developmental guy, but he has starter skills."
Oakland Raiders
Pick: Round 2, Pick 4 (36)
Player: Derek Carr
Position: QB
College: Fresno State
Mayock's take: "He is more athletic than people think. A lot of teams thought he was the best pure thrower in draft. I love the way this kid throws the football."
Pick: Round 3, Pick 17 (81)
Player:Gabe Jackson
Position: G
College: Mississippi State
Mayock's take: "Another solid pick. Jackson is a physical interior offensive lineman. Most people think he's best in a phone booth, which means he's strong and tough."
San Diego Chargers
Pick: Round 2, Pick 18 (50)
Player: Jeremiah Attaochu
Position: OLB
College: Georgia Tech
Mayock's take: "This is why the Chargers moved up. He is the last of the true 3-4 outside linebackers in this draft. Attaochu can play inside or outside or with his hand in the dirt. I love his motor, and he makes plays everywhere."
Pick: Round 3, Pick 25 (89)
Player:Chris Watt
Position: G
College: Notre Dame
Mayock's take: "This is another really good football player from Notre Dame. Watt teamed with (Dallas Cowboys first-round pick) Zack Martin on the left side of that offensive line. He's one of the smartest and toughest offensive linemen in this draft."
