ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos debuted their live remote web broadcast on Wednesday night from Buffalo Wild Wings in Highlands Ranch.
Hosts Chris Hall and Phil Milani were joined by Broncos linebacker Steven Johnson and Ring of Fame linebacker Karl Mecklenburg.
Miles the mascot and the Broncos cheerleaders were also at the event.
Johnson discussed the environment in the linebacker room, playing with cornerback Aqib Talib and how his mindset has changed with more experience.
At the end of the segment with Johnson, he answered a question from a young fan. He also took pictures and signed autographs for fans.
Mecklenburg, who is a six-time Pro Bowler, said he enjoys going to events like this to see fans.
"It's fun," Mecklenburg said. "This town is so supportive of the Broncos and once a Bronco always a Bronco. My twelve years with the team were a great part of my life. Obviously there's a lot of excitement here about the Broncos here and next year is going to be a great year."
While on set, Mecklenburg spoke about the Broncos' offseason moves on defense and the influence of John Elway. He is excited to see the result of the offseason acquisitions during the season and said "it looks like they've got a great group that can shut other teams down."
He said the Broncos fans are "unbelievable."
"I didn't know what to expect coming out here as a late round draft pick," he said. "To see that first year of training camp, just the unbelievable support for the team and through my entire career and I've been retired for 20 years and it's still great to get out and see people that are excited to see me."
