ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- With a few open spots on the roster, the Broncos signed defensive linemen Cody Larsen and Will Pericak on Wednesday.
Pericak (6-3, 300 pounds) is a first-year player from the University of Colorado who spent his rookie season in 2013 competing on practice squads with San Diego and Jacksonville after being signed by Baltimore as a college free agent. He tried out for the Broncos during rookie camp.
He started a school-record 49 games at Colorado and finished his career with 207 tackles (125 solo), 7.5 sacks, 19 tackles for a loss, five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and eight passes defensed. He will wear No. 69 for the Broncos.
Larsen is a 6-4, 300 pound first-year player who spent his rookie season on Baltimore's practice squad after being signed by the Ravens as a college free agent in 2013 from Southern Utah.
He appeared in 44 career games (42 starts) at Southern Utah, compiling 130 tackles (72 solo), 18.5 sacks, 30.5 tackles for a loss, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one interception. He will wear No. 60 for the Broncos.
