ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Defensive end Derek Wolfe (neck) and tight end A.J. Derby (concussion) were the only Broncos on the 53-man roster not on the practice field as they held their second consecutive session without helmets.
Safety T.J. Ward, who has been in the league-mandated post-concussion protocol, was at practice but not in uniform. Head Coach Gary Kubiak listed Ward, Wolfe and Derby as the players who did not participate.
Tight end Virgil Green was also on the practice field for a second consecutive day; he missed last Sunday's game because of a concussion suffered against the Patriots. He and outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett were listed as limited.
Kubiak added that NT Sylvester Williams, ILB Brandon Marshall, C Matt Paradis, QB Trevor Siemian and WR Bennie Fowler were full participants.
Cornerback Kayvon Webster and outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware were placed on injured reserve Wednesday because of a concussion and a back issue, respectively.
