ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Linebacker Brandon Marshall (knee), safety Darian Stewart (neck), wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton (knee) and cornerback Bradley Roby (ankle) will miss Sunday's game against the Texans, Head Coach Vance Joseph announced Friday.

Royce Freeman (ankle) will be listed as questionable.

Joseph said Freeman could benefit from another week off with the bye week approaching, but that won't determine his status for Sunday.

"He's getting better fast, but I think for the long haul of the season, sitting him one more week may help," Joseph said. "But we'll see how he feels tomorrow. He's getting better really fast. If he's ready to go, he will go."

Joseph also said he's not concerned with the secondary's depth with Roby out and Adam Jones missing Friday's practice with a personal matter.

"[Jones will] be fine," Joseph said. "He's back tonight. He had a family matter. We've got [Tramaine] Brock, we've got Adam, we've got Isaac [Yiadom] — outside of Chris [Harris Jr.], obviously. So we're fine. We're in good shape, and we've got four healthy guys for the game."

The Broncos will also get healthier at right tackle, where Jared Veldheer will return to the starting spot.

"He had a great week, and he's healthy and ready to go," Joseph said.

Though Joseph seemed to anticipate Su'a Cravens being activated to the roster ahead of Sunday's game, he said wide receiver Jordan Taylor isn't ready to play a game.

"Jordan's sore," Joseph said. "He's trying to get right for us, but he's really sore. If he was right, he would be able to play, but he's not right yet."
