Broncos Injury Report: Domata Peko Sr. questionable to play vs. Colts

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —** Nose tackle Domata Peko Sr. was the lone Bronco listed as questionable on Denver's final injury report ahead of the team's game in Indianapolis.

Should Head Coach Vance Joseph's projection during his Tuesday media session prove true, the 12-year veteran will return to the field after sitting out the last two games with a knee sprain. Peko was a limited participant in practice each day, including Wednesday's practice before the team heads to Indianapolis.

"He has progressed fine," Joseph said Tuesday. "… He is feeling better. He should be able to go on Thursday night."

Paxton Lynch is the only Bronco ruled out for Thursday, as he continues to recover from a sprained ankle he suffered during the Broncos' Week 12 game against the Raiders. Safety Justin Simmons was placed on injured reserve earlier Wednesday with a high-ankle sprain.

Jamal Carter, recovering from a sprained shoulder, practiced in full on Wednesday after missing Monday's practice and participating in a limited capacity on Tuesday.

Carter and everyone else who practiced in full on Wednesday — Todd Davis (ankle), Adam Gotsis (ankle), Joseph Jones (Achilles), Matt Paradis (wrist), Shane Ray (wrist), Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) and Trevor Siemian (lower back) — will be able to play against the Colts.
