Broncos Injury Report: Brandon Marshall sidelined; Todd Davis practicing

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Inside linebacker Todd Davis practiced Wednesday while fellow starter Brandon Marshall remained sidelined as the Broncos turned their on-field focus to Sunday's game against New England.

Davis suffered a strained oblique muscle in last Sunday's loss at Tennessee, but made a quick return to action. Marshall, meanwhile, remains out because of a hamstring injury he suffered at Jacksonville on Dec. 4. It was Marshall's second hamstring of the season.

Marshall was not optimistic about the possibility of returning this week when asked last Friday about the injury.

Long snapper Casey Kreiter also continues to sit out because of a calf injury. Kreiter has not played since he suffered the injury Nov. 23, four days before the Broncos' Week 12 game against Kansas City.

Offensive linemen Matt Paradis and Russell Okung did not practice Wednesday, but both were on hand, watching from the sideline. Paradis and Okung continue to receive periodic days off from practice, but are expected to play Sunday.
