ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —** As Bradley Roby prepares to step into a starting role after the Broncos traded Aqib Talib, the Broncos agreed to terms with cornerback Tramaine Brock on a one-year contract to ensure the secondary maintains a high standard in its nickel defense.
Brock, an eight-year veteran, has played in 91 games and recorded 189 total tackles, 44 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and 11 interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.
The 29-year-old previously played for the Vikings in 2017 and the 49ers from 2010 to 2016. As a 49er, Brock was part of San Francisco's run of three consecutive NFC Championship Game appearances, including their 2012 victory over the Falcons that sent them to Super Bowl XLVII against the Ravens.
