ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --The Broncos added another piece to the interior of the offensive line Tuesday, trading for Seattle Seahawks guard John Moffitt.

The club traded defensive tackle Sealver Siliga in exchange for the offensive lineman.

Moffitt, a third-year pro from the University of Wisconsin, was originally drafted in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

He started nine games as a rookie before his season ended due to a knee injury. He recovered to play in eight games last season, starting six, and saw time in both of Seattle's playoff games.

The 6-foot-4, 319-pound guard was an AP first-team All-American in his final year at Wisconsin, when he helped block for new Broncos teammate Montee Ball.

Siliga spent the entire 2012 season on the team's active roster, contributing one tackle in one game played. He spent the 2011 season on the club's practice squad.

"Thanks (to the) Denver Broncos organization for everything they've done for me," Siliga tweeted.
