In support of the Alzheimer's Association's path to raise funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research, Annabel Bowlen and the Bowlen family will be joining the Colorado chapter's Denver 2014 Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sept. 20, 2014.
Heading up Team Super Bowlen, the family is inviting anyone willing to donate money, energy or time to help fundraising to help put an end to the disease.
Registration is open for those interested in participating in the 5K walk at Denver City Park, which raises funds directly to the non-profit organization to further the research into Alzheimer's and to support and care for those with Alzheimer's. The walk begins at 9 a.m., and there is also a run that starts at 8 a.m.
Mrs. Annabel Bowlen will be cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony at 8:50 a.m.
The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the largest event in support of raising awareness and funds for exploring the avenues to end Alzheimer's through research, support and care. Denver's walk is one of the top-30 in the country, and currently has raised 44 percent of its goal as of Sept. 8.
If you are interested in donating in support of Team Super Bowlen or joining the team during the walk, you can do so at the Team's page here.
