**

  • WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 30; 7:30 p.m. CST.
  • WHERE: Arrowhead Stadium; Kansas City, Mo.
  • TV: NBC.
  • SERIES RECORD: Chiefs lead, 56-51 (Broncos lead 1-0 in the postseason).
  • JOHN FOX'S RECORD: 7-1.
  • PEYTON MANNING'S RECORD: 9-1 (2-0 in the postseason).
  • SERIES STREAK: Denver has won three straight, four of its last five and five of its last seven games in Kansas City.

Take a look at photos from the last time the Broncos played the Chiefs on the road in the regular season, Week 13 of 2013.

  • LAST TIME IN KANSAS CITY: Broncos 35, Chiefs 28; Dec. 1, 2013. A pair of early interceptions, a 108-yard kickoff return and a gashed Denver defense helped the Chiefs sprint to a 21-7 lead less than 20 minutes into the game, but the Broncos scored 28 consecutive points to overturn the deficit. With Julius Thomas injured, Eric Decker seized the opportunity, catching a career-high four touchdown passes, including three in the second half. The Chiefs had a chance to tie the game in the final two minutes of regulation, but the Broncos' tired defense marshaled enough strength for a red-zone stop with 1:46 remaining. A 28-yard Montee Ball run one play later sealed the win and gave the Broncos a one-game lead and a tiebreaker advantage in the AFC West. The game was the last of Jack Del Rio's tenure as interim head coach; the Broncos went 3-1 on his watch against opponents that all made the playoffs and finished a combined 43-21.

NOTING THE GAME:

  • The Broncos will look to match their longest winning streak at Arrowhead Stadium, a four-game run from 1976-79.
  • Perhaps the most fascinating storyline for the Chiefs will be their defense's attempt to rebound from its late-season fade last year. After allowing 15.9 points per game during a 9-0 start, the Chiefs conceded 29.9 points per game after that, including a 45-44 playoff loss at Indianapolis. During their 9-0 start, the Chiefs held foes 5.1 points below their average; in the right games that followed, foes averaged 3.0 points more than their averages.
  • This will be the fourth prime-time game between the Broncos and Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Kansas City won two of the first three, most recently a 19-10 triumph on Thanksgiving night in 2006. This is also scheduled to be the second consecutive season with at least one prime-time game between the clubs. Until last year, they had not played a prime-time game since 2006 (they played once in prime time each year from 2004-06).
  • Manning is 5-1 all-time at Arrowhead Stadium. The tally includes the Colts' 38-31 divisional-playoff win in January 2004. Fox is undefeated in Kansas City.
  • This is the second consecutive season and third in the last five to see the Broncos visit Arrowhead Stadium in Week 13. This is also the third consecutive year to see the Broncos end Thanksgiving weekend with a trip to Kansas City.
  • Denver has a better record in Kansas City in November than any other month. The Broncos are 7-5 there in November, but just 3-16 in December, with the third win coming last year.
