ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have signed another of their 2024 draft picks.

Wide receiver Devaughn Vele has signed his four-year rookie contract, the team announced on Friday.

Denver chose Vele out of Utah with the 235th-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Vele led Utah in receiving in 2023 with 43 catches for 593 yards and three touchdowns, and he snagged 123 receptions for 1,689 yards and nine touchdowns in his career.

"He is a guy that is an older player with experience," Head Coach Sean Payton said after the draft. "He is kind of a big slot. His comp might be a Tim Patrick-type player. He is strong and smart."

Vele is the second player in the Broncos' draft class to sign his rookie contract, joining guard Nick Gargiulo.
