Jay Roberts enters his eighth season with the Denver Broncos in 2022 and serves as General Manager of Empower Field at Mile High. He was hired by the club in 2015.

With over 25 years of wide-ranging experience, Roberts has extensive involvement in managing world-class facilities, while hosting major sporting events and blockbuster concerts. In his current role, Roberts oversees and leads all stadium operations, including guest services, security, booking, event management, capital expenditure planning, parking, and food & beverage.

With over 25 years of wide-ranging experience, Roberts has extensive involvement in managing world-class facilities, while hosting major sporting events and blockbuster concerts. In his current role, Roberts oversees and leads all stadium operations, including guest services, security, booking, event management, capital expenditure planning, parking, and food & beverage.

Additionally, Roberts is a member of the Broncos' executive team and works closely with all departments to support various efforts and initiatives.

Prior to joining the Broncos, Roberts served as vice president of operations for the Scottrade Center and Peabody Opera House in St. Louis from 2013-14. During his tenure, Roberts worked closely with the St. Louis Sports Commission to win bids for two NCAA wrestling championships, the first and second rounds of the NCAA basketball tournament, and the SEC basketball conference tournament. 

Preceding his time in St. Louis, Roberts worked as general manager of CONSOL Energy Center and Mellon Arena, which is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins. In his career, Roberts has also spent time working as the director of tennis center operations for the USTA National Tennis Center and director of events at Three Rivers Stadium.  

Roberts graduated from Miami (Ohio) University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business. A native of Pittsburgh, Roberts and his wife, Mechelle, have two children: Tai and Lily.
