Korey Jones is in his fifth season as assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Denver Broncos in 2024. He was hired by the club prior to the start of the 2020 NFL season.
Jones, who has nine years of experience in sports performance, is responsible for assisting in player health and strength development.
A seven-year pro football veteran, Jones played in the Canadian Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2019), Edmonton Eskimos (2014, '17-19), Saskatchewan Roughriders (2016) and British Columbia Lions (2013-14). He also competed in NFL training camps with Green Bay (2014) and Arizona (2013) after being signed by the Cardinals as a college free agent as well as playing one season with the Blacktips of the Fall Experimental Football League.
Prior to joining the Broncos' strength and conditioning staff, Jones worked as a sports performance coach at Landow Performance (Centennial, Colo.) for five years from 2015-20. He was instrumental in assisting athletes with NFL Combine prep during his tenure.
Jones is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, he is Level 1 USA Weightlifting Certified as well as FST (Facial Stretch Therapy) Level 1 Certified.
A two-year starter at linebacker for the University of Wyoming (2011-12), Jones began his collegiate career at Garden City Community College (2009-10). He attended Rocky Mountain High School and is a native of Ft. Collins, Colo.
