On Oct. 25, 1998, Jason Elam tied a 28-year-old NFL record with a 63-yard field goal.

As Terrell Davis eclipses 2,000 yards rushing for the season, the Broncos finish 14-2 for the franchise's best record.

The Broncos win their second Super Bowl with a 34-19 victory over the Falcons on Jan. 31, 1999.
