City of Denver proclaims, celebrates 'Pat Bowlen Day'
Denver mayor Michael B. Hancock and the city honored the late Pat Bowlen on Wednesday at the City & County Building. Hanock read a proclamation declaring Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 as "Pat Bowlen Day," presented a gold challenge coin, raised a Broncos flag over the building and unveiled a temporary street sign in Bowlen's honor. Members of the Bowlen family, as well as Broncos alumni, Miles the Mascot, Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and the Stampede Drum Line joined Hancock on Wednesday at the event.
