In his second game as a Bronco, and his second game since recovering from neck surgery, Peyton Manning still showed signs that he needed time getting back up to speed. Manning completed 24 of 37 passes for 241 yards and touchdown, but threw three first-half interceptions.

Falcons running back Michael Turner opened the scoring with a 1-yard run over the top in the first quarter.

Tight end Tony Gonzalez caught a 1-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to extend Atlanta's lead to 20-0.

WR Demaryius Thomas caught eight passes for 78 yards and one touchdown.

Falcons wide receiver Roddy White had eight receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown, which extended Atlanta's lead to 27-7 in the third quarter.

OLB Von Miller had three tackles, including one sack and two tackles for loss.

RB Willis McGahee ran for 113 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Willis McGahee scored his second touchdown with 3:25 left in the game, giving the Broncos a sliver of hope for a comeback.

After drawing within one score with just three minutes left in the game, the Broncos bet on their defense to hold Atlanta to a three-and-out to give their offense one last shot. But Julio Jones found six yards on third-and-5 to clinch the victory.
