2015's Broncos Country Stars
Take a look through some of the world's top musicians and athletes in other sports who came out to Broncos practices and games to show their support.
These two country-music stars came out for a training camp practice in August and got to meet Peyton Manning, as well as Terrell Davis and Gary Kubiak and other members of the team.
A diehard Broncos fan -- and former employee -- Mayor Hancock visited during training camp before the Broncos' Super Bowl season. As a high school senior, Hancock was Huddles, the Broncos' mascot well before Miles.
Before beginning his first season as the Nuggets' head coach, Michael Malone visited with Gary Kubiak during a training camp practice to see how his fellow first-year coach ran things.
A five-time MLB All-Star, three-time Gold Golve Award winner and a four-time Silver Slugger Award winner, Todd Helton has long been a sports star in Denver. That's usually enough to get a warm reception at any Broncos practice or game, but Helton was also Peyton Manning's teammate at the University of Tennessee. Manning actually replaced Helton as Tennessee's starter when he went down with a knee injury, starting a historic collegiate career with the Volunteers before an even more staggering career with the Colts and the Broncos.
Fresh off an incredible World Cup run -- during which she scored three goals in the final and earned the Golden Ball Trophy as the best player of the tournament -- Carli Lloyd returned to Houston to watch the Broncos take on the Texans in a preseason match. Though Lloyd lives in Houston, she couldn't pass up the chance to meet one of her favorite athletes, Peyton Manning, after the game.
You might see Jimmy Butler rocking a No. 88 jersey at any point during football season, whether in the Bulls' locker room after games or on his Instagram. The connection isn't readily apparent to outsiders, but Butler is good friends with WR Demaryius Thomas because of their similarly difficult paths to the NBA and NFL, respectively.

The 2016 NBA All-Star won his first ring in 2015 with the Warriors, and in 2016 he's already got to see one of his good friends win a championship, too. Green and WR Bennie Fowler forged a friendship as AAU basketball teammates, and after Green enrolled at Michigan State, so too did Fowler, though he had left basketball behind to become a promising football at that time. The two are always in contact, and Green came to watch Fowler play when Oakland hosted the Broncos in the regular season. In return, Fowler flew to Toronto in February after the Super Bowl to watch Green in his first All-Star Game.
After spending lots of time in Denver on tours and spending a winter in Colorado, Tiesto became a football fan and adopted the Broncos as his favorite NFL team because a couple of his friends rep the orange and blue. As his tour took him through Denver in 2015, he had a chance to see Broncos headquarters and to take in a practice.
As a young skiing prodigy, Vonn trained in Colordo for years before she and her family moved to Vail to be able to train for consistently. Now an Olympic champion (2010 downhill) and a two-time world-champion (downhill, super-G), Vonn still lives close enough to come to Broncos games fairly often, including the overtime stunner against the Patriots. While in town for a WWE wrestling match, O'Neil trained at the Broncos facility, where he met DeMarcus Ware. O'Neil, a former football player at the University of Florida, played against Peyton Manning in college.
Holm burst onto the national scene as the mixed martial artist who took down Ronda Rousey in UFC 193 in a stunning upset, but she didn't burst onto the scene as a Broncos fan. She grew up loving the Broncos and even made the trip to see John Elway's last regular-season home game.
Prior to the Broncos' win over Pittsburgh in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, T.I. correctly predicted a Broncos win and he met briefly with John Elway. As the Broncos began a Super Bowl run, the king was indeed back.
The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion is a huge Broncos fan, so he couldn't miss the opportunity to see Denver beat the Patriots to advance to Super Bowl 50.
The 17-time Grammy-nominated artist took his mic and swapped out music for sports journalism during Super Bowl week, interviewing Broncos players (and later, Panthers players, too) during a media session.
Kevin Durant moonlighted as a press photographer at Super Bowl 50 (you can see his photos here) but before the game, he was able to get a close-up with Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller.
OK, so they may not be Broncos fans, but how could we leave out these stunning musicians who dazzled us during Super Bowl 50?
