To celebrate NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s driving career before his retirement, fellow stock car racer Regan Smith told one of his favorite stories, which features the diehard Redskins fan donning a Broncos jersey for the 2015 AFC Championship.

4. Von chicken
During the Broncos' bye, Von Miller spent some time in College Station, Texas, taking in a football game ... and taking orders at a chicken restaurant.
He explained the situation during his media session on Thursday:
I was just walking. I was walking down North Gate and it just got crazy. I was trying to walk fast and try to get somewhere quick before people anybody noticed I was there. I was walking fast. People started noticing me. When you walk by it's like a little wave. And you can hear the people talking behind you. I was just trying to get somewhere where they couldn't get to me. I got into Dixie Chicken. People started noticing me in Dixie Chicken, so I just went behind the bar. I figured if they're going to let me hideout, I might as well just help out. So, I started helping out taking orders and answering the phone. I worked for like 30 minutes. They haven't paid me for it yet (laughing). It was a 30 minutes well spent at the Dixie Chicken. It's a popular chicken spot in College Station anyways. It was good to go by there and spend some time with them. Dixie Chicken with Von Miller the chicken guy, it's perfect.
