The Squeeze: DeMarcus Ware shines on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Great football player, better dancer?

Former Broncos outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware took to the dance floor Monday night for his "Dancing With the Stars" debut. He looked just as natural dancing alongside dance partner Lindsay Arnold as he had next to Von Miller during his time in Denver.

Ware showed off some impressive hops while jumping over Arnold to start the routine, but that's nothing that should surprise Broncos fans; he used similar athleticism to accumulate 21.5 sacks in his three seasons with the Broncos.

Ware and Arnold are tied with Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong atop the leaderboard with 23 points.

"The judges raved about DeMarcus's presence on the dance floor, praising his ability to exude strength yet stay light on his feet," wrote Micheline Goldstein on abc.com. "The scores reflected their kind words, as he tied for the top score of the night with a 23, earning an 8 from Carrie Ann, 7 from Len, and 8 from Bruno."

The second round of performances is tonight at 6 p.m. MT.
