Ronnie Hillman named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 17

**

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.** — Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the team's 27-20 win against the San Diego Chargers, the NFL informed the Broncos on Wednesday.

The award represents the first conference recognition of Hillman's career and the 60th time a Broncos player has taken home AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors since the award was initiated by the NFL in 1984.

Hillman rushed for a career-high 117 yards with one touchdown on 15 carries (7.8 avg.) and added two receptions for 10 yards (5.0 avg.) against the Chargers. His 23-yard, game-winning touchdown run with less than five minutes remaining helped the Broncos clinch their fifth consecutive division title and the AFC's No. 1 seed.

This is the sixth AFC Player of the Week honor for the Broncos this season, which represents the most by any team in the conference.
