How long have you been involved in organized dance?**

I've been fortunate to be involved in dance for a very long time. I danced at the University of Kansas while I was in college. Then when I moved to Denver I was actually able to audition to be a part of the Denver Nuggets dancers and I danced for them for two seasons. I really wanted to be a part of the community aspect that the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders valued. This group of women portrays so much energy and enthusiasm and I just really wanted to be a part of it.

How did you decide to dance?

I had to make a decision in sixth grade. It was either volleyball or dance. I remember it was a very dramatic night with my parents and I had to make a choice right then because both of those things take a lot of time and commitment. I chose dance, obviously and fell in love with it even more year after year.

How was the audition process?

It's always a tricky time because you never know until the very end so you just have to give it your best. For the most part I really did enjoy it because it was nice to be around such wonderful people. Shawna and Shelly are incredible and you're doing what you love. 

Do you have any hidden talents?

I actually am a pretty good singer but I don't like singing in front of people so nobody will ever know.

What is your favorite holiday?

Thanksgiving.

What is your favorite Disney movie?

Mulan.

What is something you can't live without?

My husband.

What is your favorite meal to cook?

Anything Mexican.

What is your favorite music genre?

Electronic.
