ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Five players will be limited when training camp begins: TE Virgil Green, ILBs Brandon Marshall and Danny Trevathan, DE Antonio Smith and WR Demaryius Thomas.
Thomas and Smith will be eased back into work because they did not take part in offseason work. Thomas missed time because he had an unsigned franchise tender; Smith sat out while attending to a personal matter.
Marshall and Trevathan continue to work their way back from foot and knee injuries, respectively. Both got extra work in this week during rookie practices and moved well, but the Broncos want to take it easy with each of them.
Green had a hamstring problem "and various soft-tissue stuff going on throughout OTAs," Head Coach Gary Kubiak said.
"We didn't work him all the time. We had him stay here throughout the course of the summer," Kubiak said. "He's ready to go, but once again, he's not somebody that we want to throw out there for two and a half hours [Friday]."
