ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After missing all of the preseason and Week 1 of the regular season with a calf injury, linebacker Todd Davis has "definitely turned the corner" and is "ready to play," Head Coach Vic Fangio said Friday.
Davis, though, is listed as questionable for the Broncos' game against the Bears on Sunday.
"I still don't know if we'll play him this week," Fangio said.
Asked whether Davis being on a snap count would impact the team's decision to play him, Fangio said "that always enters into the equation.
Fangio said earlier in the week that if Davis plays, he couldn’t expect him to play 50 snaps or more.
Cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) is also listed as questionable.
"I do see him getting better," Fangio said. "We're just going to have to keep seeing some progress tomorrow and then even Sunday."
Guard Ron Leary, who was limited at practice this week with a quadricep injury, did not receive a game status, which indicates he is expected to play on Sunday.
Tackle Ja'Wuan James (knee), fullback Andy Janovich (pectoral) and linebacker Joe Jones (tricep) were ruled out for Sunday's game.
