ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos will be without starting cornerback Riley Moss for a second consecutive contest.
Denver ruled out Moss (knee) for Sunday's Week 15 matchup vs. the Colts. He did not participate in Denver's three practices ahead of the game.
The second-year player also missed Denver's Week 13 game after suffering his injury against the Raiders in Week 12.
"I like our depth," Head Coach Sean Payton said Friday. "… I think we've had a good week. We've got plenty of depth on the back end. We just have to understand who we're playing and how we're playing this game."
Safety Brandon Jones (abdomen) improved to a full participant on Friday and was not assigned a game status. The absence of a game status indicates a player is expected to be available to play. Jones was limited on Wednesday and Thursday with the injury.
Cornerback Tremon Smith (not injury related - personal) was added to the injury report as a limited participant, but he was not assigned a game status.
Denver is slated to face the Colts at 2:25 p.m. MT on Sunday.
