ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — A day after left tackle Garett Bolles left the Broncos' season opener with an ankle injury, Head Coach Sean Payton said he received positive updates regarding the injury.
"All the X-rays were negative — good news there," Payton said Monday. "All the MRIs were negative. Obviously there's a contusion. That's what I know, and that's a positive."
Bolles exited the game during the fourth quarter and did not return, with tackle Matt Peart replacing him for Denver's final two drives.
Bolles played 54 offensive snaps before exiting Sunday's contest.
