ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Starting safety P.J. Locke did not practice Thursday ahead of the Broncos' Week 8 matchup with the Panthers.
Locke was a limited participant on Wednesday with a thumb injury.
Defensive tackle Malcolm Roach, meanwhile, returned to practice as a full participant after missing Wednesday's session with an illness.
Tackles Mike McGlinchey (knee) and Alex Palczewski (ankle) remained limited participants for the second consecutive day, while cornerback Pat Surtain II (concussion) remained a full participant.
Denver is slated to announce its game statuses on Friday for Sunday's matchup against the Panthers.
