ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Outside linebacker Malik Reed did not practice Friday after aggravating a hip injury during Thursday's practice.
Head Coach Vic Fangio said he was "not sure yet" if Reed would be able to play against the Cowboys, and the outside linebacker is officially listed as questionable.
Safety Caden Sterns (shoulder), tight end Albert Okwuegbunam (knee), nose tackle Mike Purcell (thumb) and guard Graham Glasgow (hip) are also listed as questionable.
Tackle Garett Bolles was ruled out after not practicing this week.
Fangio also said he did not expect tight end Noah Fant or guard Netane Muti to be activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list in time to play on Sunday.
Fangio said the team could potentially work out Reedbefore the game to determine his status, but Fangio also noted that the team could have an indication on Saturday of whether he's able to play.
Reed's injury comes just days after the Broncos traded outside linebacker Von Miller to the Rams in exchange for two Day 2 draft picks.
Reed's four sacks rank second on the team this year. If Reed cannot play, either Stephen Weatherly or Aaron Patrick would likely start opposite Jonathon Cooper.
