ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Linebacker Todd Davis (calf), fullback Andy Janovich (pectoral) and linebacker Joe Jones (tricep) did not practice on Friday as the Broncos prepared for their Week 1 game in Oakland.
Cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) and safety Trey Marshall (neck) were listed as limited.
Head Coach Vic Fangio said Davis did not suffer a setback during his recovery. He suffered the injury on July 18, the first day of training camp.
Fangio did not rule the starting linebacker out for Monday's game but said he likely needs to practice in order to play.
"I would think so because he's been out so long," Fangio said.
If Davis cannot play, Fangio said "a bunch of guys" would share his duties at inside linebacker.
Fangio also said Callahan was "doing fine."
"He's been OK," Fangio said. "We've been managing his time out there."
All five players had the same designation on Thursday's practice report, which was an estimation of their participation. The team did not practice Thursday.
