ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- **As the Broncos honor veterans and active duty members of the military during their annual Salute to Service game against the Chiefs on Sunday night, the organization is asking for the support of Broncos fans to help pay homage to the commitment and sacrifice shown by the men and women who serve, and have served, our great country.
The Broncos ask all fans in attendance at Sunday night's game to join in the singing of the National Anthem during the pregame festivities, which will feature an America-themed performance by the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, 600 Junior Cheerleaders, the Stampede Drum Line, Mile High Tumblers and the Thunderstorm Skydivers.
Since the national anthem will be sung by the crowd, the Broncos are asking that fans are in their seats a little earlier, in time for the pregame festivities.
The Salute to Service festivities, presented by USAA and OtterBox, will include a variety of military appreciation items and performances throughout the evening.
All fans in attendance will receive Salute to Service branded Panini Player Cards (OtterBox), and all military personnel in attendance may present their military ID at the USAA table located at gate 10 inside the stadium to receive a USAA/NFL Salute to Service rally towel while supplies last.
The action on the field, too, will incorporate the Salute to Service celebration.
The Broncos will be led out of the tunnel by 25 members of the Colorado National Guard, and players will don insignias of all branches of the U.S. Military on their helmets, as selected by each individual.
A Military Challenge Coin, traditionally used in the Armed Forces to recognize achievement and performance, was created specifically for the Salute to Service game by USAA and will be used for the opening coin toss.
Sunday's halftime show, presented Otterbox, will feature the Air Force Academy Drum and Bugle Corps. Additionally, the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Colorado National Guard and Wounded Warriors will be honored and presented with a game ball on behalf of the Broncos.
Throughout the game, special military guests will be honored and recognized during the USAA Salute to Service Moments and as Broncos Country Heroes.
