ENGLEWOOD, Colo. –Just two days after defensive end Vance Walker tore his anterior cruciate ligament, Derek Wolfe was helped off the field Wednesday with an apparent ankle injury.
A Wednesday afternoon MRI revealed no extensive damage to the ankle, and he should miss little, if any, practice time.
He appeared to be putting weight on both legs as two trainers helped him to the locker room.
The fifth-year player recorded 49 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 2015. He signed a contract extension in January.
