ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- With the 2014 NFL Draft now in the books, here's a look at who the Broncos' AFC West rivals picked up on the final day, with some comments from NFL Network Analyst Mike Mayock and NFL.com's Gil Brandt.
Kansas City Chiefs
Pick: Round 4, Pick 24 (124)
Player: De'Anthony Thomas
Position: RB
College: Oregon
Mayock's take: "This just makes a ton of sense for the Chiefs. When you watched what Dexter McCluster did for that team, you knew they'd have to find somebody to replace him. The Chiefs will have to manufacture touches for Thomas."

Mayock's take: "Andy Reid values these guys. Now you bring in a guy who will compete to be the No. 3 guy against Tyler Bray in Year 1. I think it's pretty simple: They paid Chase Daniel big money last year. You're lucky to get through a season with your No. 1 guy. They have Bray, who has a ton of arm talent. Now, they bring in a kid as clean as can be. The Chiefs have their young, developmental guy."

He's a medical student, and he said he thought he lost the weight because he was so busy studying for his classes. At his pro day, Duvernay-Tardif ran the 40 in 4.94 and 5.08 seconds. He had a 31 1/2-inch vertical and a 9-6 broad jump. He ran the three-cone drill in 7.30 seconds and had 33 bench-press reps. Duvernay-Tardif was not at the combine, but those numbers were as good as any offensive linemen there, including Taylor Lewan."
